COMMUNITY MATTERS
At the heart of our business are dozens of charitable organizations that we assist with fundraising. Many of those relationships are meaningful to us on a personal level, and so as a business and as individuals, we often become donors. But, supporting our clients is just one of the many ways the Phoenix Innovate team demonstrates its commitment to community. Here are a few others:
Our team voted to raise the prices in our vending machine so that the proceeds could be used at Christmas to buy presents for families in need. It's a year-long effort that culminates in a joyous few days in the Phoenix Innovate lunchroom when everyone comes together to wrap the gifts.
In the spring and summer, our garden committee grows hundreds of pounds of tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, peppers, cauliflower, herbs and other fresh vegetables in the land around our building for Forgotten Harvest, an organization dedicated to ending hunger in the Detroit area.
We offer team members paid time off to volunteer with charities and organizations in our community that are important to them.
We use environment-friendly inks and recycled paper and implement paper and plastic recycling throughout our building.
We are grateful that the Phoenix Innovate team shares in our commitment to serving the community and giving back. It connects us to our community, it builds team spirit and it just feels good!
